Home Remodeling Projects

One of our Designer's in our Hudson location stumbled upon an interesting home remodel article. As home owner's we all encounter remodeling projects at some point in our lifetime. An article written by Teresa Mears for US News & World Report explains what projects yield the most pay back if you should plan to sell in the future.

Kitchen remodels ranked on the top of the list with an 82.7 percent return on your investment. The article advises that kitchen remodels are a great project to undertake. This is due to the fact that potential buyers will see an out of date kitchen and over estimate the cost to repair it. Also, the article warns that a kitchen remodel does not have to be over the top in value. Mears states in her article that the kitchen should be concerned with matching the architectural style of your home.

Our designers find this article to be quite helpful in deciding which upgrade should be taken. However, we would like to stress that if such a project is started the budget and the style of the house should be one of the top priorities. These two concerns help us designers find the right kitchen for your needs.
